A teenager was taken to hospital with stab wounds after a fight broke out in Croydon last night.

Police were called at around 10.10pm yesterday to reports of men fighting in Dunley Drive, New Addington.

Officers attended and found a 16-year-old boy suffering stab wounds.

He was taken by London Ambulance Service to a south London hospital, but his injuries are not thought to be life threatening.

Croydon Borough CID is investigating and there have been no arrests at the time.

Parts of Dunley Drive and neighbouring Merrow Way were taped off while officers investigated the incident, and Transport for London said diverted the T31 and 130 bus routes to avoid the closures.

Any witnesses or anyone with any information can call police via 101 or contact Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111 or via www.crimestoppers-uk.org.
