East Ham: Man stabbed to death in east London suburb

A man has died after being stabbed in a residential street in east London.

Police officers rushed to the junction of White Horse Road and Gresham Road, in East Ham, at about 8.10pm on Monday following reports of a knife attack.

On arrival they found a man, believed to be aged in his mid-30s, suffering stab wounds.

The victim was pronounced dead at the scene by paramedics, Scotland Yard confirmed.

The man’s next of kin have been informed and a post mortem is set to take place.

The road has been cordoned off while officers investigate the stabbing.

A spokesman for the Metropolitan Police said the Homicide and Major Crime Command has been informed.

No arrests have been made.
