The first London murder probe of 2020 has been launched after a man was stabbed to death in Finsbury Park.

Police and paramedics scrambled to Charteris Road at around 6.50pm on Friday to reports of a man suffering stab injuries.

The victim, a man in his 30s, died at the scene at 7.42pm.

There have been no arrests and enquiries continue.

Pictures taken at the scene, near the junction with Lennox Road, show a police cordon in place.
