A London teenager being held in Greece over the murder of another British holidaymaker has begged for new witnesses to come forward.

Tyrell Matthews-Burton, 19, from Leyton, was stabbed during a bar fight involving more than 30 British tourists in Malia on Crete in July.

Myles Litchmore-Dunbar, also 19 and from Catford, faces nearly a year in a prison awaiting trial for murder. In an interview from his cell, he told ITV News London he was “100 per cent innocent” and said forensics tests on a knife will prove it.

Litchmore-Dunbar said he believes that a “no-snitching code created by criminals for criminals” was stopping witnesses from speaking to police.
