A Polish man has admitted murdering his 35-year-old friend before hiding the body in a Tottenham railway underpass.

Kamil Czarnomski, 23, attacked Pawel Chwalinski near the rail line off Park View Road on November 16 last year.

Police found Mr Chwalinski’s body the following day, poorly hidden beneath a sleeping bag and bike frame.

Ambulance crews pronounced the man, who also hailed from Poland, dead at the scene.

A post-mortem examination at Haringey Mortuary later found he had died from head and neck injuries.

Today at the Old Bailey, Czarnomski, of no fixed abode, admitted the murder.

He will be sentenced at the Old Bailey following a hearing scheduled for May 5 and May 6.
