A man has been charged with murder following a fatal stabbing in Woolwich.

Police launched a murder probe after 23-year-old Damilola Oloruntola was found with fatal injuries on Brookhill Road on Wednesday, September 28.

Solomon Bamidele, 25, from Kent, was later arrested at an address in Essex and has been charged with murder and possession of an offensive weapon.

A 25-year-old woman was arrested at the same address on suspicion of assisting an offender. She was taken in to custody and subsequently released on bail pending further enquiries.
