No charges against G4S staff over Angolan national who died while being deported from UK

Prosecutors will take no action against three G4S staff over the death of an Angolan national who collapsed on a plane while being deported from the UK, the Crown Prosecution Service (CPS) said today.

Jimmy Mubenga, 46, became ill as the flight was preparing to leave Heathrow Airport in October 2010, and died later in hospital.

Today the CPS announced that three civilian guards who escorted him will face no action.
