Police have released CCTV images as they hunt a man in Simpsons slippers wanted in connection with a string of sexual assaults.
Hertfordshire Police said they believe seven assaults since the start of June - in which a man has approached women and groped their buttocks - are linked.
Sergeant Matthew Waylett said: “The man pictured may have vital information about what happened and I would urge the public to contact us if they can identify him. He is wearing a distinctive pair of Simpsons cartoon slippers.
“I’d reassure people that we are taking these incidents seriously and have a number of officers involved in the investigation, as well as increased patrols. I would also reiterate the safety advice which includes remaining alert when walking alone, being aware of your surroundings and sticking to busy areas.”
Detectives have also released an e-fit of a man wanted in connection with the attacks after a victim's description. He is described as black, of slim build and between 5'3" and 5'5" tall, with short hair.
