A 12-year-old boy was sexually assaulted on a bus when a man stroked his leg as the vehicle stopped outside a police station.

Police said the incident took place on a route 16 bus travelling towards Edgware Road at 7.50am on November 12.

The boy sat opposite a man who stroked his leg when the bus came to a stop outside Paddington Green Police Station.

The man then left the bus and walked off down Edgware Road.

Police have released a CCTV image taken from the bus of a man they would like to speak to in connection with the sexual assault.

He is described as being of Middle Eastern appearance, aged between 25 and 30, with black hair.
