A teenager was stabbed in a residential street in north London last night.

The boy, who police said was in his late teens, was attacked on Pratt Street close to Camden High Street.

Officers were called to reports of a stabbing at 9.30pm.

The victim's injuries were not life-threatening or life-changing, Scotland Yard said.

Twitter users posted their reactions to the stabbing.

Amelia Tee-Jay, who saw a police cordon at the scene, wrote: "Went to get me a take away tonight ... ended up in the middle of a crime scene, someone got stabbed.... #camden."

James Gunn said: "Someone got stabbed in Camden tonight. If you go on a night out flexing your muscles looking for a fight THEN stabbing someone, you are NOT hard."

The road was closed for several hours while officers were at the scene but has since been re-opened, Transport for London (TfL) said.

Buses were temporarily subject to diversions and delays.

Enquiries are ongoing. No arrests have been made.

Anyone with information should call police on 101.
