A teenager stabbed to death in a row was an aspiring rapper who wanted to use music to “become the man he always wanted to be,” his heartbroken friends said today.

Isaiah Ekpaloba, 18, was stabbed in Wood Green on Friday after an alleged dispute with another teenager. A fight reportedly broke out and both suffered stab wounds.

Mr Ekpaloba made his own way to hospital but died shortly after.

One 18-year-old friend said: “He was so full of life and had a cheeky smile and would give you the tightest hug. He wanted to do good things and show the world he was someone special.”

Jaydee Dorsett, 19, of Wood Green, has been charged with Mr Ekpaloba’s murder and was due to appear at Barkingside magistrates’ court today.

A teenage girl was appearing at Stratford magistrates’ court today charged with the murder of a 17-year-old in Homerton.

The girl, 17, from Hackney, is accused of killing Jeremie Malenge, from Dalston, who was found with stab wounds last Tuesday.
