Two teenagers have been charged with murdering a young father who was stabbed to death in east London.

The father-of-one, who lived with his family in Sharon Gardens, was treated by paramedics at the scene for multiple stab wounds but was pronounced dead in hospital just 90 minutes after the incident.

He is believed to be the seventh teenager to be killed in the capital this year.

Ashan Crosdale, 19, and a 16-year-old boy who cannot be named for legal reasons, both from Hackney, are due to appear from custody at Thames Magistrates' Court tomorrow.
