Staff at Odeon Leicester Square have changed the name of the cinema to LeOdeon in support of Leonardo DiCaprio’s Oscars bid.

DiCaprio, who is up for the best actor award at Sunday’s ceremony, has previously been nominated four times but has never succeeded in taking home the award.

The 41-year-old star is hoping he will win for his lead role in The Revenant, but faces stiff competition from Eddie Redmayne, nominated for his performance in The Danish Girl.

DiCaprio already scored a success at the Baftas earlier this month, scooping the best actor award at the London ceremony.
