This £170,000 Mclaren super car was seized by police after it was involved in a collision with a cyclist.

The MP4 model car, which has a top speed of more than 200 miles per hour and can accelerate from 0-60mph in around three seconds, was taken in after a crash near Old Street.

Police were called to the scene of the collision just before midnight on Thursday, where they found a 41-year-old cyclist with minor injuries. He was taken to a north London hospital for treatment.

The high performance car was seized as its 63-year-old driver did not have appropriate insurance, police said.

No arrests were made.
