Snow flurries look set to make way for heavy showers as torrential rain lashes the capital.

Londoners will continue to face freezing temperatures on Saturday amid a severe weather warning for ice from the Met Office.

Forecaster Graham Madge told the Standard: “We have issued a warning for people to be aware of ice on the roads where snow may have melted and refrozen as temperatures drop.”
