Tottenham blaze: Man dies after fire rips through ground floor flat in north London

A man has died after a fire ripped through a flat in north London today.

More than a dozen firefighters tackled the blaze which spread through a ground floor flat in Tottenham this morning.

The fire destroyed more than a quarter of the flat, which is on Grove Park Road.

Two fire engines were called at 8.30am and by an hour later firefighters said the blaze was under control.

The London Fire Brigade and the Met Police are both investigating into what caused the fire.
