A breather from burlesque for Kate Middleton’s cousin Katrina Darling

Katrina Darling, cousin to the Duchess of Cambridge, was among the bacchanalian crowds saying farewell to 2013 at The Last Tuesday Society’s New Year’s Eve Ball. The self-titled International Royal Burlesque Performer and former Playboy cover girl, pictured with tattooed US model Jimmy Q, was at home with the fire-breathers, snake charmers and naked waiters helping to raise money for Crisis at the Coronet in Elephant & Castle.

Darling may have met her match when it comes to good connections and unshockable dispositions, though: also in attendance was India Rose James, heiress to porn baron Paul Raymond’s £329 million fortune. James may lack Darling’s connections but she has placed higher than The Queen on this year’s Sunday Times Rich List.
