Canapés for Vanity fare

Vanity Fair saw out the year with a canapé and cocktail party at the Langham Hotel last night.

Among the guests were Rachel Johnson, former editor of The Lady, now a Mail on Sunday columnist, and Jemima Khan, the glossy’s European editor. Joan Collins, dressed like a starry night, was on hand to add some more glitz to the evening. There was also a giant gingerbread house as decoration, though no one owned up to being the wicked stepmother.
