Somerset House is still reeling in shock at the behaviour of Kate Moss last night.
The supermodel had turned up for a private view of fashion photographer Tim Walker’s Story Teller exhibition with her husband, Jamie Hince. Moss approached the barman at the reception, whose trays were laden with extravagant Chase vodka Elder & Apple Berrytini and Marmalade Mule cocktails. Could she have a Coca-Cola, she asked. The barman looked confused. “We don’t have Coca-Cola.” A stand-off ensued before someone was sent scurrying off to furnish Moss’s demand.
Also at the party was actress Helena Bonham Carter with her husband, film-maker Tim Burton, and model Tallulah Harlech. “Tim [Walker] is a great friend,” said Helena. “I’ve had the pleasure of being photographed by him as a fox, a queen and a bad cook ...” What was Walker trying to suggest?
