Americans, already on a fiscal cliff, saw George Osborne on the Charlie Rose show.

Rose asked him: “Do you think about becoming Prime Minister?” Osborne said no but Rose fired back: “How can you not?” After much blustering, Osborne said he was “110 per cent” committed to being a successful Chancellor.
