The National Youth Music Theatre has a new patron, Amy Nuttall.

Formerly an actress in Emmerdale and then Downton Abbey’s Ethel — the maid who becomes pregnant after a fling with a major — Nuttall was at the Vaudeville Theatre last night to celebrate the NYMT’s 35th anniversary with a concert hosted by Little Britain comedian Matt Lucas.

Nuttall, pictured above, and Spooks actress Lara Pulver, also above, are both alumni of the NYMT, as are Lucas and Jude Law. The evening was in aid of their bursary scheme.
