Kate Moss’s C-coupe causes a stir

Is Kate Moss the new Marie Antoinette? One said “Let them eat cake”, while the other would happily give away cake on the basis that “nothing tastes as good as skinny feels”. One has been accused of being off her head, the other had hers chopped off. And now they have both had champagne coupes modelled on their breasts.

Legend has it that the first coupe was shaped around Antoinette’s left bosom; more than 300 years later, Moss is creating her own champagne glass for Mayfair restaurant 34. The Art Deco-inspired coupe is (natch) said to have a “beautifully curvy shape”. Moss has said it’s an honour to share history with the French aristocrat — “She was a very intriguing and mischievous character.” Yet another quality the pair share.
