Nick Clegg went to Room on the Broom at the Lyric Theatre Shaftesbury Avenue on Saturday with his wife Miriam González Durántez and their three sons. “We told the 10-year-old he was to come to this and he wasn’t keen but he loved it,” said Clegg, who couldn’t stay for the VIP party but said he enjoys going to the West End “as much as possible”.
