Sherlock’s coat causes a flap

22 April 2014

Sherlock fans may long to get close to Benedict Cumberbatch, but British Airways’ High Life magazine is offering the next best thing. The recent issue, with the actor on the cover, proved so popular that the Belstaff coat Cumberbatch is photographed wearing is now being auctioned for the charity Flying Start.

The sale of the blue, resin-coated trench coat — usual price £1,795 — opened yesterday, with the highest bid currently standing at £2,170. The auction closes on Sunday.

We hope the Cumberbitches have been saving their pocket money.
