Ethiopia-born fashion designer Gelila Assefa Puck hosted drinks and dinner last night at 45 Park Lane to introduce the Dream For Future Africa Foundation, the charity she founded in 2010.

Among the guests at CUT, the restaurant at the Mayfair hotel opened by Gelila’s celebrity chef husband Wolfgang Puck, were models Kate Moss and Naomi Campbell and editor-in-chief of Vogue Italia Franca Sozzani, Princess Marie-Chantal and Prince Pavlos of Greece.

“I have been extraordinarily lucky in my life,” Puck has said. “My principal focus is certainly my family but I have never forgotten Ethiopia, where I was born.”
