Are you one of the Tony Blair faithful? The former Prime Minister’s Faith Foundation is looking for a top spinner to get its message out.

Advertising on its website for a senior press officer, the Tony Blair Faith Foundation says it needs “an experienced, creative and forward-looking person who will approach the role with imagination, energy and enthusiasm”.

He or she will also have to sign a confidentiality agreement. The mission of the foundation, headed by Blair’s fearsome former gatekeeper Ruth Turner, is to educate and foster understanding between different faiths and, according to the job specs, “it is seeking to increase its public profile”.

No salary has been mentioned but the Londoner is quite tempted to apply, not least for the chance to meet Alastair Campbell in the interviews waiting room.
