The perils of late-night tweeting. Last night journalist Grace Dent posted this on twitter: “Treat yourself to The Wright Way on BBC1. Enjoy. No really.” Comedian Jennifer Saunders replied: “I think you are a twat.” This was promptly followed by another tweet: “Oops didn’t mean to send that to @gracedent. Soz.”
Presumably this exchange is entirely unrelated to the fact Saunders’s daughter Beattie Edmondson appears in the said Ben Elton sitcom, which has been universally panned by critics.
