Nutrition expert George Cooper noted some improvement in the tennis star’s eating habits in his match against Novak Djokovic in yesterday’s Australian Open final.

“I saw him take only two bites from a banana early in the game,” says Cooper, who argues in his new book, Be Your Own Nutritionist, that raw fruit may be good for you but it’s too hard to digest during a tennis match. “He did well in the first set but then things began to slide. If he had left that banana at home, he might have won.”
