Emily Thornberry, Angela Rayner and Jon Ashworth ended the Labour party's annual conference on a high note, leading revellers at parties on the last night.
London MPs Ms Thornberry and Stella Creasy turned DJs to get hundreds of students screaming and dancing to Kylie, Little Mix and Cher at a Labour Students event, while a smoke machine blasted over them.
MP Luciana Berger was among the revellers at the Kingdom nightclub.
Warm-up act Ms Creasy took to the decks shortly after midnight, opening with the 1997 Chumbawamba hit Tubthumping. The MP for Walthamstow was greeted with cheers of “Walthamstow” and paid homage to George Michael with the Wham! hit I’m Your Man.
She sipped a pint behind the decks while playing hits Teenage Dirtbag by Wheatus, Black Magic by Little Mix and I’m Gonna Be (500 miles) by The Proclaimers.
She then introduced Ms Thornberry with the iconic New Labour anthem Things Can Only Get Better by D:Ream to screams of “Tony, Tony, Tony” from the dance floor.
The shadow foreign secretary’s choices included Cher’s Believe, Abba’s Gimme! Gimme! Gimme! and Dolly Parton’s 9 to 5, and she closed the set at about 1.30am with Toto’s Africa.
The MPs made their appearances less than 12 hours before their leader’s closing speech. Earlier in the evening, former Labour leader Ed Miliband hosted a pub quiz, while shadow cabinet members Mr Ashworth and Ms Rayner duetted on Oasis’s Don’t Look Back In Anger at a karaoke party at club Revolución de Cuba.
