Bankers fear City could lose its place

City bankers are gloomy about the future of the Square Mile, a new survey found today.

Although London held on to its status as the world’s highest ranked financial centre, ahead of New York and Hong Kong, only half of the respondents to a poll by think tank Z/Yen thought it would be more competitive in the next three years.
