A building collapsed as a huge fire ripped through an industrial estate in Berkshire.

Firefighters spent much of Tuesday night and the early hours of Wednesday morning tackling the blaze at the Western Industrial Estate in Bracknell.

The fire is thought to have broken out at NEP Visions Ltd, a TV production company, at around 10pm on Tuesday.

Royal Berkshire Fire and Rescue Service said the fire had caused the building to collapse, the BBC reported.

Nobody is believed to have been injured in the blaze and its cause is currently under investigation.

Dramatic pictures from the scene showed flames billowing into the air, while some social media users reported hearing explosions.

Samantha Godfrey wrote on Facebook: "We heard the bangs in Temple Park & sirens are now racing to the scene We can see a fire & smoke over the tree tops now."

Michelle Lipinski tweeted: "Heard the huge explosions started about 5 to 11 then we looked out the back windows in wilwood Rd and the flames were enormous."

Jess Hunt said: "Thought someone was letting off fireworks till i saw that smoke outside!! Bracknell literally on fire!!"
