More than two thirds of Britons admit to feeling stressed, a new survey has revealed.

Transport delays, heavy workloads, and bills are the main factors in raising blood pressure, with 33.7 per cent revealing they take their stress out on their partner.

Queuing, loud music, and people coughing without covering their mouths were the next most annoying things to instil ire, with one in 10 people saying they were “very stressed”.

Almost one in 10 also revealed they got most frustrated by people who do not reply to phone calls or texts.

The survey, from Green Flag, found that work and school commitments make Monday the most stressful day for more than 17 per cent of us.

Katie Hopkins — who has recently been called the British Donald Trump — beat her US counterpart narrowly to the title of the celebrity who stresses Brits out most, with 20 per cent choosing the outspoken columnist.

Sleep was found to be the biggest de-stresser for 35 per cent of people, followed by music, alcohol, and sex.

The survey also found that pets are more relaxing than friends, bubble baths, food, or even movies.
