The father of two young boys killed in hit-and-run crash has been found dead in a hotel room in Greece.
Reece Platt-May's body was found on Thursday, three months after Corey and Casper, aged six and two, were mowed down by serial criminal Robert Brown.
The boys were with their mother when drugged-up Brown's Ford Focus ploughed into them at more than 60mph in a 30mph zone.
The court later heard that Brown had been released from prison just six days before the incident, which happened in McDonald Road, Coventry, on February 22.
West Midlands Police have now said Mr Platt-May was found on the Greek island of Corfu and his death is not being treated as suspicious.
A spokesman for West Midlands Police said: "Mr Platt-May was found dead in a hotel room in Corfu, Greece during the early hours of Thursday May 17.
"His death is not being treated as suspicious. His family has been notified and the matter will be passed to the coroner.
"Our condolences go to the family who have asked for the media to respect their privacy at this difficult time."
Brown, 53, was jailed for nine years on April 27. Gwendoline Harrison, 42, who was a passenger in the car, was sentenced to six months in prison.
Mr Platt-May said in a statement to Warwick Crown Court, on behalf of the boys' mother, Louise: "My heart is broken – my heart is broken and time will never heal this.
"I love my boys with all my heart, and they will never be forgotten."
