Police have launched an appeal after two men were left needing hospital treatment in an attack outside a Shoreditch bar.

Officers released a CCTV image on Thursday of a man they wish to speak to in connection with the attack.

Shortly after 11pm on Sunday, July 11, two men in their twenties were involved in an altercation with another man after leaving a bar in Shoreditch’s Curtain Road.

Both men were assaulted. One of them suffered a fractured skull and the other was left with a leg injury.

While both have since been discharged, they continue to recover from their injuries nearly six months on.

Detectives from the Central East Basic Command Unit say they are searching for the person responsible.

Anyone with information is asked to call police on 101 or tweet @MetCC quoting CAD 4508/12Jul. To remain anonymous contact Crimestopperson 0800 555 111.
