Teenagers die in stolen car crash

A 15-year-old joyrider and his teenage passenger have died after their stolen car crashed.

The teenagers were both pronounced dead at the scene in Kipping Lane in Thornton, Bradford on Friday night.

West Yorkshire Police said the silver Peugeot 206, which had been reported stolen from the Thornton area, crashed into a building and subsequently a stationary black VW Polo and a blue MG ZR.

The driver and the 15-year-old girl, both local, were pronounced dead at the scene after the crash at 10.20pm.

A police spokeswoman added: "A 19-year-old man has been arrested in connection with the incident and is currently being questioned by police."

Officers are appealing for witnesses.
