Tyson Fury told fans his newborn Athena was in intensive care on Monday after his wife Paris Fury gave birth over the weekend.
The boxer said his daughter was in a stable position and doing well in his latest update on social media.
In his Instagram stories, the two-time world heavyweight champion shared his hopes his baby girl would be out of the intensive care unit on Monday.
Also, the proud dad explained his wife was “doing great” following the birth of their sixth child.
He wrote: “Massive thanks for all the messages and support. The baby is in a stable position and doing well - hopefully she comes out of ICU today [Monday].
“Please keep baby Athena in your prayers. Paris is doing great. God bless.”
The sporting champion has been updating his 4.4million Instagram fans on social media about the birth of his child.
Earlier on, the sports star had asked everyone to pray for his baby girl who had been born on Sunday.
He wrote: “Please can everyone pray for my baby girl who was born this morning. Athena Fury born 8/8/21. Thanks. God is great.”
Previously, Mrs Fury revealed she was in labour for two days before giving birth to their baby girl.
She wrote on Saturday ahead of the birth: “He [Tyson] is dangerous with a camera think he’s bored now we nearly at the end of day 2 in here and still no little girly.”
The couple welcomed their sixth addition to the family over the weekend.
Already they raise their children — Venezuela, 11, Prince John James, eight, Prince Tyson II, four, Valencia Amber, three, and Prince Adonis Amaziah, one — at their family home.
They haven’t shared their first photograph of their newborn on social media yet.
It comes after Mr Fury’s latest fight was rescheduled for October 9.
