William to be reunited with snapper

Jeff Hubbard, 54, will be reunited with Prince William
12 April 2012

Prince William is to be reunited with a former homeless man who took his portrait picture on Thursday evening.

Jeff Hubbard, 54, captured the royal's image during a photographic session where the second-in-line to the throne turned the camera on the ex-rough sleeper.

The two pictures, or diptych, were the centrepiece of an exhibition titled A Positive View and many of its images will be auctioned this evening in aid of Crisis - a national charity for single homeless people.

William, 27, is the exhibition's patron and is to attend a royal gala reception at the central London sales rooms of the auction house Christie's.

The royal will view a number of the images that featured in the display - from world renowned photographers and former homeless people.

During the reception the prince will also have a chance to meet those behind the cameras, but will leave before the auction begins.
