Woman and dog ‘attacked by two men on Hampstead Heath’

Police are hunting for two suspects after a woman and her dog were attacked on Hampstead Heath.

The woman, in her 60s, was approached by two men while walking on the heath at around 1.30pm on Tuesday.

The first man is said to have pushed her to the ground and taken her belongings.

Meanwhile, the second man is said to have attacked her dog.

The victim was left with pain in her hips and legs as a result of the incident.

However, she did not require hospital treatment.

Police are looking for two white men aged between 19-27. They were described as wearing caps at the time of the incident.

Anyone with relevant information is asked to contact 101, quoting crime reference 2305223/21.
