German Chancellor Angela Merkel was seen shaking in public for the third time in less than a month.
Mrs Merkel, 64, trembled uncontrollably during a military ceremony in Berlin on Wednesday, as she stood alongside Finland’s visiting prime minister.
Video footage shows the chancellor trying to maintain composure as the national anthem played to mark Antti Rinne's arrival.
The 64-year-old has no history of serious health issues, although two previous incidents prompted speculation in the media.
She was first seen shaking on June 18, when she met visiting Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskiy.
She blamed the episode on the 28C heat, and later said she felt better after drinking some water.
Less than ten days later, she appeared unsteady and trembling alongside German President Frank-Walter Steinmeier at an indoor event in Berlin.
Her spokesman responded to concerns by insisting she was fine, and she went ahead with her planned trip to Japan for a G20 summit.
A government official told Reuters news agency that her issue was psychological rather than physical, as she desperately tried to avoid a repeat.
Mrs Merkel is due to step down from her role as chancellor before her term ends in 2021, having served since 2005.
If she were to become incapacitated, Mr Steinmeier would appoint a cabinet minister as acting chancellor until parliament elects a replacement.
Following Wednesday’s latest health scare, a spokesman for the government said Mrs Merkel's discussion with Mr Rinne would continue as planned.
