Melania Trump appeared to snub her husband’s hand as the couple arrived in Rome for today’s meeting with the Pope.
Mr Trump went to take the First Lady’s hand as they were exiting Air Force One, only for her to suddenly attempt to fix her hair.
The president then quickly places a hand on her back.
The apparent snub came just 24 hours after a video of her swatting away the president’s palm as they walked away from the plane at Ben-Gurion International Airport in Israel went viral.
The Trump marriage has been subject to speculation since Melania decided to stay in Manhattan with son Barron, so he can finish school, rather than live in the White House with the president.
