This is the terrifying moment a passenger jet came into land with a gaping hole blasted in its fuselage.
One passenger was unaccounted for after the Daallo Airlines plane safely completed an emergency landing at Somalia’s Mogadishu airport.
There were reports a man may have been sucked from the cabin and thrown to his death because of the blast, described as being "like a bomb" by the pilot.
A body was found on the ground beneath the flight path but authorities are yet to confirm it is linked to the flight.
Video captured on board the flight shows the aftermath of the explosion, which happened shortly after take-off about 11,000ft in the air.
Passengers can be seen being ushered frantically away from the gaping hole as it causes the cabin to rapidly lose pressure.
Some appear remarkably calm as dropped air masks quiver in the gusts of wind.
Awale Kullane, Somalia's deputy ambassador to the United Nations, shot the footage.
He said he heard a big bang and saw smoke erupt inside the fuselage.
"Most people started moving behind me so I saw kind of a space of, a chunk of small area of the plane missing, and that air was floating in and out, and the oxygen masks had started to drop above us,” he said.
"I took a video clip after things had settled down and most people started moving at the back of the plane.
"For the first few seconds and minutes... I was terrified and most people were terrified."
Serbian pilot Vlatko Vodopivec said he believed the hole was caused by a bomb
"It was my first bomb; I hope it will be the last," he said. "It would have been much worse if we were higher."
