A woman is alleged to have stabbed her boyfriend with a samurai sword after finding the dating app Tinder on his phone, a court has heard.
Emily Javier, 30, pleaded not guilty to one count of attempted murder after her ex-boyfriend of two years Alex Lovell was hospitalised last week.
In a police interview, she said she suspected Mr Lovell of cheating on him after spotting the dating app on his phone.
She then claimed she noticed "scratch marks" on his back and found locks of red hair - despite her own being dyed green - in the shower.
Ms Javier also told investigators she felt neglected due to the amount of time Mr Lovell "spends playing video games", according to The Oregonian.
Mr Lovell told the court: "I saw the look in her eyes, and it scared the living poop out of me.
"I told her I loved her, and she was killing me. She needed to call police, or I was going to die.
"I was just so proud for beating this samurai wannabe crazy lady with hate in her heart.
"I've been preparing my whole life for something like this."
A 911 call uploaded online reveals the terrifying moment Ms Javier told the police she had stabbed her boyfriend repeatedly with a sword.
In the clip, she tells the dispatcher: "I think he's dead. You need to hurry."
When asked where she stabbed Mr Lovell, she replies: "Everywhere."
Lovell's index, middle and ring fingers were almost cut off at the base though doctors have been able to reattach them.
A GoFundMe page set up to help Mr Lovell pay his medical bills has raised more than £5,700 ($8,000).
