Sabine Lisicki followed up her win over Serena Williams by defeating Laura Robson's conqueror Kaia Kanepi to move into the Wimbledon semi-finals.

Fresh from beating the world number one on Monday, the German world number 24 required just over an hour to win her quarter-final clash on Court One.

Lisicki dominated from the outset, overpowering and outplaying Kanepi 6-3 6-3 to reach the Wimbledon last four for the second time in her career.

"I had to make sure I came down quick enough (following the win over Serena) to be ready for today," Lisicki said afterwards.

"With the experience that I have from the last three times I played here in the quarters, I think it helped me a lot.

"It is so nice [to be back in the semi-finals]. I did it two years ago, played very well, and now I felt even more ready for this match and yesterday I had a great challenge on the way to the semis. I think it made me ready for the semis.

"There is no pressure because for me it is still a game that I love so much. I want to keep it that way.

"I am going out there for every single match trying to win and we will see what happens."

Lisicki will next face Agnieszka Radwanska for a place in Saturday's final.
