World’s first solid chocolate egg is here just in time for Easter - here's where to get it

If hollow chocolate eggs just won't cut the mustard, then it's time you moved on to a solid sphere. You heard us – a totally solid egg-shaped creation, which involves no halves or cracking.
This indulgent treat, which comprises 42 blocks of Belgian chocolate, has arrived just in time for the Easter holidays and is the handiwork of the Solid Chocolate Company.
It comes in a variety of flavours to tickle every chocoholics' fancy including milk chocolate, dark chocolate, white chocolate and milk chocolate with caramel.
Speaking of the creation, the company said: "It's not rocket science to just put two solid halves together, but that wasn't good enough for us.
We wanted to have an egg made of solid, bite-sized pieces that fit together to make a solid egg."
The egg comes with a hefty price tag of £24.99 on Amazon, but due to its huge popularity among chocolate lovers, it is now sold out in every flavour.
Those wanting to stock up on this clever creation will have to keep their eyes peeled for a restock – the word about solid eggs is spreading fast.
