50 Cent jokes 'times are hard' posing next to small car after filing for bankruptcy
Rapper 50 Cent filed for bankruptcy on Monday – but he appears to be making light of the situation.
The Candy Shop rapper – real name Curtis James Jackson III – posted a photo to his Instagram showing himself standing next to a blue smartcar.
He captioned the picture: “Times are hard out here LMAO#EFFENVODKA #FRIGO #SMSAUDIO.”
The hip-hop star filed for bankruptcy just days after being ordered to pay $5 million in a law suit.

He filed papers at the US Bankruptcy Court in Hartford, Connecticut, on Monday, with reported assets and debts in the range of $10 million to $50 million.
It came after a jury ordered the star to pay $5 million to Lastonia Leviston, whose sex tape he allegedly 'leaked' and posted online without her permission to embarrass his rap rival Rick Ross.
Bankruptcy clearly hasn't panicked the star too much as he claimed that he is having one of his best years ever.

Alongside a picture of himself with a group of friends he wrote: "I can't remember a year that I had this much fun. Just good energy every were I go. #EFFENVODKA #FRIGO #SMSAUDIO.”
