Adele calls out fan for filming her during concert: ‘I’m really here in real life’

Adele called out fans for filming her during a recent concert in Italy.

The British superstar, who is in the middle of her world tour, urged concert-goers to put down their iPhones and cameras and watch her ‘in real life’ during Sunday’s show in Verona.

In a clip, ironically taken on one fan’s phone, the 28-year-old can be seen chastising the audience for not engaging with her show.

Chatting to the crowd after performing one of her hit tracks, Adele decided to make a point about ‘living in the moment’.

The singer seemed to notice someone who had brought rather a lot of equipment with them to the show.

“I want to tell that lady as well, can you stop filming me with the video camera,” she told the crowd.

“Can you take your tripod down, this isn't a DVD. This is a real show and I'd really like you to enjoy the show because there are lots of people outside who couldn't come in.”

The impassioned mid-show speech seemed to go down well with the audience, prompting loud cheers from the auditorium.

One fans later wrote on Twitter: “I commend @adele for calling out the rude concertgoer with the recording equipment. How'd she get a tripod and prof camera into the venue??

Another wrote: “Adele had all the rights to the shut that lady down for "illegally" recording her show with a professional camera.”

According to reports, the star has recently signed a record-breaking new £90 million contract with Sony Music.
