Ariana Grande and her manager Scooter Braun have told fans they ‘will not let evil win’ in the wake of the Manchester terror attack.

Grande and Braun sent their love to those who lost family members after a suicide bomber killed 22 people and left dozens injured at Grande’s Manchester Arena concert on Monday night.

They praised the “courage and bravery” of Mancunians who offered to help those injured or stranded following the devastating attack.

In a statement on Instagram, Braun wrote: “The last 48 hours have been beyond devastating. As a father I cannot express my sorrow and my rage at this cowardice act. These were children. They were attacked because of our way of life. Our love of freedom and each other. There are no words that will comfort.

“There is nothing that can be said to make 22 return to their families today. I am so so sorry for their loss. I am so sorry to all those affected.

“Thank you to people of Manchester who have come together to help save lives and give shelter. Your courage and bravery is our hope. As I stated last night let's please all hold the victims, their families, and all those affected in our hearts and prayers.

“From myself and my friend @arianagrande ...We are with you Manchester. We will not let evil win! Never!”

Grande, who was unhurt, previously told fans that she had been left “broken”.

She has since cancelled her Dangerous Woman tour dates, including two at London's O2 Arena, “to pay proper respects to those lost”.

Braun had previously issued a statement in the aftermath of the attack, saying: “Our hearts are broken. Words cannot express our sorrow for the victims and families harmed in this senseless attack.

“We mourn the lives of children and loved ones taken by this cowardly act. We are thankful for the selfless service tonight of Manchester's first responders who rushed towards danger to help save lives.

“We ask all of you to hold the victims, their families and all those affected in your hearts and prayers.”
