An Australian daytime television show has accidently aired Noel Gallagher swearing.

Producers on The Project failed to bleep out the former Oasis star’s interview, in which he drops the ‘f-bomb.’

Joking about breaking away from record labels, the High Flying Birds frontman said: “I enjoy the lack of money that I make.

“I enjoy the lack of record sales, I also enjoy the lack of recognition and the lack of awards that I receive. Quite frankly, my mantelpiece was chock-a-block with the f****** things. It is nice to take a back seat.”

He added: “I enjoy not working with people in record labels who are, in fact, as we all know f*****. It is nice to get away from that mob.”

Fans took to Twitter in shock after the pre-recorded segment was aired on Tuesday before the watershed.

“Person responsible for editing swearing in Noel Gallagher interview on the project currently getting the "I give you one job!" lecture,” one person posted.

Another wrote: “This is what happens when you have Noel Gallagher on a daytime TV show.”

Gallagher is currently touring in Australia with the High Flying Birds.
