Bond favourites Tom Hardy and Idris Elba reunite at motorbike launch

Friends Tom Hardy and Idris Elba reunited for the launch of the brand new Triumph motorbike.

The A-list stars, who worked together on Guy Ritchie’s RocknRolla back in 2008, caught up at The Bike Shed Motorcycle Club in East London on Wednesday night.

Taking time out from their busy schedules, the actors – who are both rumoured to be the next 007 – were spotted bonding over their love of bikes.

While fans are used to seeing the British heartthrobs suited and booted on the red carpet, both stars dressed down in jeans and T-shirts for the party.

After checking out the new Global Triumph Bonneville, Elba took to the decks and DJed for the rest of the night.

Elba, 43, and Hardy,38, weren’t the only petrol head stars at the party, as they were joined by Kellan Lutz, Gillian Anderson, Carl Fogarty and Jake Chapman.

Legend star Hardy has recently usurped pal Elba as the favourite to take on the role of Bond after Daniel Craig steps down.

A spokesman for BoyleSports bookies said last month: “The Next James Bond market has certainly come alive with all the support coming in for Tom Hardy, who is now 4/1 from 6/1 to take over from Daniel Craig.

Speaking about the possibility to MTV, Hardy recently said: “It’s to do with gamblers isn’t it? I don’t think it has anything to do with the entertainment business.’

He added: “I have a standard chance of actually playing James Bond.”
