He's not known for being the easiest of interviewees, but when Bradley Cooper walked off set mid-interview with Jimmy Fallon, it wasn't because he was being difficult.

The A Star is Born actor was chatting about his new project with the host when they both decided to jump up and walk off set, leaving the audience to watch two empty chairs.

After discussing the new film, the conversation turned to Cooper's attire, with the pair trying to remember what the actor had worn on his previous visit.

Cooper said: “This is the same suit I wore, I think, last time I was here. I mean you could check it but I feel like it is yeah.

“I think it had egg [on it], remember we did that egg thing?”

Fallon recalled that the pair had previously enjoyed a game of egg Russian roulette and that there was a photo of it in the hallway to the show’s main set.

Despite the duo recalling the incident, they were left unconvinced and walked out mid-interview in pursuit of the photograph.

Viewers were met with a standby message whilst Cooper and Fallon inspected the mystery image.

On their return, the pair confidently confirmed: “It’s the same suit.”

The shambolic interview also saw them battling hysterics as they kept bursting into laughter after Cooper shared a bland story on his high school reunion which left Fallon unimpressed.

The hilarious moment came after Cooper was met with criticism from fans for his ‘miserable’ appearance after This Morning presenter Hammond attempted to serenade him with an original song.

The awkward interview saw Hammond’s hilarious performance met with an awkward applause from Cooper.
